Success stories
See how art professionals transform their business with Corpus.
Galerie Novum had outgrown ArtLogic. What started as a neat database became a daily obstacle: duplicated entries between inventory and website, inconsistent fields across artists and a CRM that did not reflect how the team actually sold work. With a fast exhibition rhythm and multiple consignments moving in and out, the gallery needed a system that could track artworks with documentary rigor — provenance, exhibitions, attachments — without turning every update into admin.
They chose Corpus because it treated inventory as the central source of truth and connected the rest of the business to it. The promise that mattered was not “more features”, but fewer gaps: Inventory management built for real cataloguing (editions, series, complex records), a CRM and sales pipeline that tracked relationships and deal stages end-to-end and integrated websites that synced directly with inventory so the public-facing site did not become a second job.
Migration was planned like an exhibition install: measured, time-boxed and with zero appetite for surprises. Corpus’ data recovery workflow pulled in artworks, contacts, documents and historical notes from ArtLogic, followed by integrity checks to catch missing images, broken attachments and mismatched dimensions before they could become new problems. Within 48 hours, the gallery was operational: inventory searchable, records clean and the website connected without duplicating uploads.
The first visible change was speed. With the website syncing automatically, the team stopped re-entering works and stopped worrying whether the site was out of date. Sales conversations became easier to manage because every inquiry, follow-up and offer lived inside a single sales flow management view. No more hopping between email threads, spreadsheets and a half-updated CRM.
Today, Galerie Novum reports 30% time saved, but the bigger win is confidence. With enterprise security and granular access controls, they can share what’s needed internally without exposing everything, and reporting is no longer a monthly ritual of formatting and reformatting. The platform finally feels like it was designed by people who understand galleries… because it was.
For Galerie Héritage, the challenge was not quantity, it was complexity. Old Masters inventory demands deep documentation: layered provenance, literature references, condition notes, export considerations and supporting PDFs that must stay linked to the object forever. Their previous tools were fine for “a painting with a price”, but brittle when asked to represent decades (sometimes centuries) of ownership history and scholarship.
Corpus stood out because it did not flatten nuance. The gallery needed provenance tracking that could capture dates, sources and documents in a structured way, plus inventory management that handled long-form cataloguing without turning records into unreadable walls of text. They also valued multilingual support for working seamlessly across French, Dutch and English — both internally and with international clients.
The migration was approached as a documentation project, not a simple import. Using Corpus’ data recovery, the team consolidated artworks, contact records and archives of certificates and reports into a coherent structure. Corpus guided the mapping of fields (titles, attributions, materials, measurements, exhibition history), then ran consistency checks so provenance chains did not get broken and critical attachments did not drift into generic folders.
Once live, the payoff was immediate: “complex provenance, simplified”. Researchers and partners could navigate ownership history without hunting through PDFs and sales staff could pull clean, client-ready information in minutes. When a collector requested background on a work, the answer was not scattered across emails, it was inside the object record, complete with supporting documentation.
They are satisfied now because the system matches the reality of their market. Old Masters require credibility and traceability; Corpus made those qualities operational. Instead of treating scholarship as an afterthought, the platform made it the backbone — while staying modern, fast and usable day-to-day.
Pierce Advisory was scaling… fast. Managing one collector was manageable with a patchwork of tools; managing fifteen meant chaos: inconsistent reporting formats, proposals assembled from old PDFs, and client data spread across folders, inboxes and different databases. The team spent too much time “making things look right” and not enough time advising… exactly the wrong tradeoff for a service business.
They chose Corpus because it offered one platform designed for multi-client reality. The deciding factors were separate client databases (strict separation and permissions), proposals and viewing rooms for polished, trackable presentations and robust client reporting that could produce consistent exports on demand. The addition of offline consultation was the quiet clincher: art fairs and site visits do not wait for Wi‑Fi.
Migration focused on standardization. Corpus’ data recovery consolidated artworks, documents, locations and contact networks across clients, then aligned them to a single reporting structure: “location”, “valuation” and “status” meant the same thing everywhere. Permissions were configured to mirror the team’s roles, ensuring sensitive client information stayed isolated while still enabling collaboration.
With Corpus in place, Pierce Advisory changed how they worked week-to-week. Proposals became a repeatable process: build, brand, share privately and track engagement, then export a PDF when needed. During fairs, the team could consult notes and inventory offline without losing changes or duplicating effort.
They now cite a 40% efficiency increase, but the real benefit is professionalism at scale. Clients receive cleaner reporting, faster responses and better continuity across years, while the advisory team spends less time assembling documents and more time making decisions. Corpus did not just organize their data; it made their service feel effortless.
